Orphans of Kazakhstan

Kazakhstani orphans reside in orphanages. These orphanages are clean and provide amble indoor and outdoor play areas. The staff provides a warm, loving environment. The children receive good nutrition, supervision, attention and stimulation.

Lynn (pictured to the right with her husband Ken, their daughter Sarah and her group of friends in Malutka) described Sarah's orphanage as newer than she'd expected and very clean. Kazakhstan is open to US adoptions.

Travel required: Yes; one trip, approximately 2-5 weeks; if married, both must travel for at least two weeks to identify and meet the child, and one can remain.

Singles accepted: Yes

Other: children are not pre-selected; matching is done in-country. Post-adoption registration is required, as well as post adoption reports for three years.
